"May I sit next to you?"
Adam looked up, and his breath caught in his throat. Standing before him was a cute guy with glasses about 5'10" with brown hair, and hazel eyes, he was waring a white shirt with it's sleeves rolled up, dark jean shorts and Vans—a sight Adam could hardly believe.
"Yes," Adam managed to say with a smile, though his heart raced with nervous excitement.
The man sat down beside him on the bench and pulled a book from his bag. Adam glanced at the cover, and feeling a spark of connection said, "Great book, isn’t it?"
The man looked up from his book, his eyes lit up. "Yeah, it is. I just started reading it, and I’m really enjoying it so far."
Adam reached into his own bag and pulled out the same book. "I just started reading it too! I'm a huge fan of the author; I just love the way she writes."
The man’s smile widened. "Huh me too, what are the odds? I sit next to someone reading the exact same book as me." He set the book down and turned fully towards Adam, clearly interested in the conversation.
"I’m Jacob, by the way."
Adam turned to face him, his nerves settling into a warm excitement. "Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Adam."

“I love you,” he blurted out, instantly regretting how clumsy it sounded. That wasn’t how it was supposed to come out, but it was too late to take it back now.
“What?” Jacob exclaimed, turning to face him.
Adam stammered, “I-I love you, Jacob. I’ve loved you since the day we met.”
A smile spread across Jacob’s face as he grabbed Adam by the tie, pulling him into a passionate kiss before he could say anything else. Their lips lingered for a moment until Jacob whispered, “And I love you, Adam. I’ve loved you since the day we met.”

"Why don’t you unpack here?" Adam asked nervously. "I mean, why don’t you unpack all your stuff here?"
Jacob sat up, shocked, pulling his arm back. "Wait, are you serious?" he asked, eyes wide with surprise. "You want me to move in?"
Adam gently took Jacob's hand, his voice soft but steady. "Yes," he replied, "because waking up next to you every day would be a dream come true."
